What Is The First Step To Fixing My Drains?
By contacting us at Drain Jets you are already most of the way there to solving your drainage problems. We will then come to your property to assess the issue. Often times we can clear the blockage on the first attempt with no hesitation. Sometimes we may recommend carrying out a CCTV inspection so that we can get a better understanding of the problem. Our expert engineer will pass a camera through the drain to see exactly what is happening. He will then be able to precisely diagnose the problem and recommend a cause of action that will provide long term relief.
Our excellent cameras are even capable of detecting deep-standing issues which exist under your property. Our XT220 Control Unit, as well as the XT2500 Camera, allow us incredibly deep access with a range of around 80 metres. This allows us to diagnose and repair even the most severe of drainage problems.
What Are Drain Rods?
Drain Rods are heavy duty pieces of plumbing equipment. They are basically a set of strong but flexible rods of around 1 metre in length that can be connected together. These rods can be passed through a drain to help clear blockages.
Many people consider using drain rods themselves but we recommend calling in the experts, unless you are experienced. Not only could you cause damage to your drains, you could also harm yourself. Furthermore, our drain rods are of industry quality and are generally more proficient than the average consumer set. Here at Drain Jets we typically use drain rods for light blockages.
What Is Drain Jetting?
When drain rods are not enough for the job we will usually use a technique known as drain jetting. Drain jetting is essentially the use of high pressure water jets to clean and clear drains. We have a state of the art van pack drain jetter made by industry leading manufacturer Jetchem. Not only is our drain jetter much more powerful than using drain robs nut it also affords a longer reach. It provides up to 3000psi of water pressure and has 80 metres of hose that covers 4,6, and 9 inch drain pipes.
Drain jetting can clear most types of blockages, is very powerful and efficient, and is relatively quick. Our expert equipment allows us to solve practically every drainage problem our customers have. Please get in touch for more information or if you think your drains need drain jetting.
